Passage Plans
The goals of the passage plan are to:
- Promote safety whilst piloting in Port Walcott;
- Allow bridge teams to plan their bridge resource management accordingly; and
- Plan berth to berth passage plan.
Guidelines to meet MSWA objectives include:
- Observance of safe pilotage practices;
- Identification of and implementation of safeguards against risks;
- Provision of bridge resource management; and
- Observation of International, National, State and Port regulatory and statutory requirements.
